Working with wood has always been my
passion. I can attribute my talent to being raised in a family of
woodworkers. As a small boy, I would build toy boats, skateboards
and tree houses, out of scraps of wood from my dad’s job sites.
Years later, wishing to carry on the third generation of Hein craftsmen,
I started Hein’s Wood Werks in Newport Beach, Orange County,
Ca. For over 25 years, I worked closely with many wonderful clients,
including some of the most respected designers and builders in the
area. Though my business was very successful, something was missing.
Seeking a better quality of life and all the outdoor activities
Central Oregon has to offer, I relocated to Bend in the summer of
2003. I bring with me that same passion for woodworking and welcome
the opportunity to meet and work with my new neighbors.
